About Us

Surf Beach Surgery in Batemans Bay was started by Dr Graham Anderson and has been caring for patients for roughly 20 years. Dr Langley and Dr Nelson took over in 2012, and since then have grown the practice to include six general practitioners, three nursing staff, a wonderful reception staff and on site pathology. We have a strong team ethic, and all doctors happily care for each others patients if the preferred doctor is not available. Our nurses help greatly with managing chronic medical conditions, performing Health Assessments,  wound care and immunisations. Since opening, we have begun a new annex at the front of the Surf Beach Plaza which includes Southern Pathology. Please note that Drs Nelson & Hamrosi are most likely to be found in the front annex, reception can advise you of this when booking your appointment.

General Practice Education

Surf Beach Surgery is committed to training our new generation of doctors. We regularly teach medical students from the ANU and when they are present you will be asked for permission for them to observe your consultation - please feel fee to decline if you wish.

We often also have GP Registrars. Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are undertaking further study in the area of General Practice. They are a very valuable part of our team and regularly teach us older doctors new tricks!
